Peace & Social Concerns is sponsoring another summer of informative talks concerning topics of social and political interest.
The Summer Conversations Lecture Series will begin the 2007 season on June 14 at 7 PM at the Apponegansett Meetinghouse at 850 Russell's Mills Road in South Dartmouth. The first talk will feature a lecture and slide show by Nantucket resident Keith Bergman who is a regional coordinator for Vice President Gore's Cllimate Project initiative. Mr. Bergman will share some of the latest science on Global Warming and discuss options available to combat it. The Summer Conversation Series is sponsored by Allen's Neck Meeting to help enhance local civil discourse.
