The "Summer Conversations" Lecture Series will begin the 2007 season on June 7th at 7 PM at the Apponegansett Meetinghouse, 850 Russells Mills Road, S. Dartmouth.
The theme for the Series is "Cooler Living in a Warmer World". We will take an indepth look at a variety of topics; how to limit one's contribution to global warming.
One of the propective speakers is Judy Beavan's son, Colin, who is having some great success with his "No Impact Man" project. He was a guest on the colbert Reprot recently and Friday, May 4th appeared on Good Morning America with Diane Sawyer.
The "Summer Conversations" series is being sponsred by the Allen's Neck Quaker Meeting to help enhance local civil discourse. There is no admission charge. For more information call Kevin, 508-999-1009.
