A letter to all Clerks of Monthly and Quarterly Meetings from New England Yearly Meeting has indicated that their foundational relationship with Friends United Meeting (FUM) will again be a significant item on the agenda of the Annual Sessions. The New England Yearly Meeting Minutes of 1974, 1960, and 1980, have repeatedly expressed deep pain at the FUM personnel Policy.

In response to the letter from Chris McCandless, we at Allen's Neck Meeting feel called to state that in order to love God, we must love our neighbor with no ifs, ands, or buts. We accept people as they are . In this light, Monthly Meeting at Allen's Neck cannot accept the discrimination of FUM's personnel policy
