Correspondences: A correspondence from Jeanne Bird was read expressing gratitude for the Meeting's help with David's Memorial. China Camp sent correspondence thanking the Meeting for its recent contribution. Ministry and Counsel: A clearness committee has been formed to meet with a prospective member, and should meet sometime this month. Pastor: A memorial minute for Sharon Wypych, who died earlier this month, was read. Peter expressed his gratitude for all who helped with her memorial. Building & Grounds: The committee is looking into concerns regarding the stove in the kitchen. Peace & Social Concerns: The final "Summer Conversation" has been booked and the Committee is working on publicity. Christian Education: First Day School is putting on a Chicken Salad Box-Lunch on June 22. Meeting approved of covering 50% of China Camp tuition for children and families from the Meeting wishing to attend this year. Finance:
The Committee is getting forecasts from committees for the 2008-2009 fiscal year and will also be discussing the upcoming 2008 fund drive in the coming month. Parsonage:The Committee has generated a list of needs for the parsonage, and will return next month with more details on the lists of projects. A Memorial Fund in Sharon Wypych's name is currently in the works. The Meeting approved looking into the possibility of building a teepee in the field to the west of the cemetery, to be used by the First Day School. Meeting approved of renewing the Pastor's contract for a year with a 5% raise.
