Gather by the fireplace in the early evening, enjoy a bowl of hot, sustaining soup, accompanied by big, thick slices of bread. Warmed by the fire and the friendship enter into a time of silent worship.
Fridays at 6:30 PM at the Meetinghouse: Writing for the Soul
Seated at the table, a topic is suggested, all write what comes to mind for ten minutes. Then comes sharing time and discussion: of meanings, of memories, of lost friendships, lost loved ones, dear family pets, unforgettable moments of a life time. Little islands of time, temporarily forgotten and then brought to life once more in a moment of writing and sharing.

Easter Sunday, April 12: Sunrise Meditation Walk. 9:00 AM Family Worship. Brunch following the service at 10:15.
Sunday April 19: Ministry and Counsel at 10:30 AM. Chicken and Gravy Supper in Fellowship Hall at 4:00 PM
Third Tuesday of the month: Afghans for the Homeless 6:30 PM. All welcome to join a group of knitters and crocheters making afghans to give to the homeless families in New Bedford.
