Ministry and Counsel: Peter Crysdale and Jean Parsons are working on this year's State of Society report. The committee is looking to gain greater participation in our annual Pastor's review. Finance: Stan Stopka reports that our fund drive was successful, though its final totals were less than the previous year. The committee is discussing the possibility of altering our current tax status. Library:The committee intends to create book plates to be used in donated books, with the intention of recording the names for posterity. The possibility of a book reviewing committee has been suggested. Building and Grounds: The stove will be disconnected on April 20. In the following few days the floor will be replaced and the new stove installed. The committee continues to weigh various options regarding the painting of the Meetinghouse and social hall. Pastor: The Pastor's contract is up for renewal and Peter would like to remind the meeting that we aim to review not only the Pastor's work but also the ministry of the entire meeting. The pastor's retreat at Powell House takes place in April. He intends to take several young friends to Philadelphia after the school year. Christian Education: The committee will sponsor the annual Easter Egg hunt on Saturday, April 11 at 11:00 AM at the Meetinghouse. Meeting approved hiring Henry Wilcox to help with the First Day School and look after the safety of the First Day School children, especially outside in the parking lot as cars are leaving.
