Minutes from Monthly Meeting for Business January 24 , 2010
Meeting for Business began at 10:30 AM with a period of unprogrammed worship. Twenty-four people attended. Bill Reed presided as clerk. Minutes from December’s monthly meeting were read.
Pastor’s Report: Meeting approved a donation of $1500 to Haitian relief. Peace and Social concerns will meet to determine specific funds to receive the donation..
Nominating Committee: Meeting approved of the attached report from Burney Gifford. Charlie Howland has requested that nominating committee add members to finance committee in the coming months.
Finance: Stan Stopka has requested that all committees submit a forecast for the coming year to help guide the committee in its work.
Building and Grounds: Jim Munger has fixed a minor plumbing problem in the Women’s rest room.
There being no further business, meeting adjourned at 11:25; purposing to meet again second month, fourth week, first day, God willing.
