Minutes from Monthly Meeting for Business March 27, 2011
The State of Society Report was approved as presented by Ministry and Counsel. Pastor’s Search Committee: Meeting approved up to $500 for CORI checks on potential candidates for Pastor. Monthly Meeting has been cancelled for April as Easter is on the fourth Sunday. Separate meetings may be called to inform the Monthly Meeting of progress in regards to the search/selection process. Building and Grounds: Various proposals from contractors are coming forward to help define costs of our proposed social hall renovations. This is part of the grant application process to take place this coming autumn. Concern by a member regarding the preservation of the 13 old photographs hanging in the social hall should be considered. First Day School: Work continues on their book project. Finance Committee: Pursuit of non-profit status continues. Monthly Meeting approved the use of the Meeting House for a wedding (outside the care of the Meeting) requested to be held Sunday afternoon, September 4, 2011. The couple would like to make a donation.
