First Day School
You may have noticed the flurry of colorful activity in the social hall. The First Day School children have been creating mounds of artwork to illustrate their book. Inspired by Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. and Dawn Tripp, they have written lines of text containing their hopes and dreams for our world. Dawn has described the editing process that takes place with all creative endeavors, so they have edited the text and are now creating many drawings and collages that will be cut, pasted, and combined into an inspiring book that we plan to have printed. You will be moved by their dreams and by their talent.
