Please join us on Thursday evenings, beginning on January 19th, from 6:30 - 8:00 pm for a book study/writing group. We plan to explore our faith and spiritual journey through reading and writing. The idea is to split our time between group discussion of a common book and writing about whatever that discussion prompts us to express.
The first book is Grace (Eventually): Thoughts on Faith by Anne Lamott, "a poignant, funny and bittersweet primer in faith." Copies are available at most libraries, local book stores, and on Amazon. If anyone needs assistance with purchasing a copy, please let us know.
We hope this sounds interesting and enjoyable to you. If interested, or if you have any questions, please let us know soon. This is a work in progress. With everyone's input and guidance, we feel sure this will be a fun, soul-searching, weekly get-together that will deepen our relationship with God and ourselves.
