Music on Wheels
Monday, December 22, we will go caroling. Gather at the Meeting House at 6 PM. We will be transported by bus to the homes of Meeting Friends who are unable to attend Meeting on a regular basis. There we will sing our hearts out. Billy is our expert driver, capable of negotiating the most difficult driveways without a hitch. Children are especially welcome on this event as they will enjoy riding in a big yellow school bus with mom and dad.
Socks & Shirts
We will be collecting clothes for the men who participate in the New Bedford Market Ministries Program directed by Sister Rose: Mens white tube socks and XL flannel shirts. She needs at least 35 shirts. The shirts need not be new, but they must be clean and in good condition. Donations will be accepted up to December 21st when they will be delivered to Sister Rose. Look for specially labeled boxes at the Meeting House.
First Day School is thriving thanks to the many Friends who led activities for our Young Friends and reported that they had as much fun as the children. Polly is looking for more volunteers for the next session. If you have a hobby or favorite story youd like to share, please see her.
The Eagle Scout Court of Honor will be held for RSVP by December 11 |
