Rummage Sale

th 8-11 AMFor those of you in our church community who have been enjoying fall housecleaning and have been collecting rummage, you may leave your contributions in the back hall entryway after October 8th. No large furniture items, please. We will be sorting and pricing items at the social hall on Wednesday morning , October 12th at 9 AM and again on Friday evening, October 14th at 7 PM. All are welcome to help sort and price our merchandise. Our sale offers you an opportunity to recycle clothing, books and household items while adding to our Meeting’s treasury!! Leftovers will be taken to Savers in New Bedford. Come to our sale and enjoy fellowship, morning coffee and donuts while finding untold treasures!!

Jazz Vesper Worship
Jazz Vespers is a concept worship and outreach ministry created as a way of reaching out to the city musicians who can’t make Sunday morning services after playing late Saturday nights. The service is designed for folk who may not be comfortable in a regular church setting and uses an eclectic mix of prayer, verse, art and live jazz to guide the worshippers through the ancient vespers service of prayers.Open to all from the greater New Bedford area, the Jazz Vesper Worship will be at 5 PM and led by Rev. Bette McClure with Matt Richard, Director of Music at the First Congregation Church of Fairhaven, 34 Center Street, Fairhaven; (508-993-3368).
